2024 Red Ribbon Week
This is a gentle reminder that this week marks our annual Red Ribbon Week. Red Ribbon Week is celebrated annually, and is the nation’s oldest and largest drug prevention awareness program. As a school community, we will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week. The Red Ribbon has touched the lives of millions of people around the world. This year’s theme is “Life is A Movie, Film Drug Free”. Together, we can make our school community a safe and healthy environment!

NEW JERSEY — New education rankings from U.S. News & World Report aim to give New Jersey parents a snapshot of how their child's school compares to others, compiling a list of the best K-8 schools in the state.
The news outlet based its 2024 Best Elementary and Middle School rankings on publicly available data from the U.S. Department of Education, focusing on student proficiency in core subject areas.
The top 10 public middle schools in New Jersey are:
- Princeton Charter School
- School 28, Paterson Public Schools
- Forrestdale School, Rumson Borough Schools
- Infinity Institute, Jersey City Public Schools
- Millburn Middle School, Millburn Township Schools
- Thomas Edison Energysmart Charter School, Somerset
- Mendham Township Middle School, Mendham Township Schools
- Roosevelt Intermediate School, Westfield Public Schools
- Cresskill Middle School, Cresskill Public Schools
- Emil A. Cavallini Middle School, Upper Saddle River Schools
The U.S. News list includes data on more than 79,000 public elementary and middle schools nationwide.
